Qixing Mountain Scenic Area

Qixing Mountain is located in Daping Town, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Between Tianmen Mountain and Xiongbiyan Mountain, and It is the watershed between the Li River and and Yuanjiang Rivers. The highest peak has an elevation of 1528 meters, which is 10 meters higher than Tianmen Mountain.

The natural scenery of Qixing Mountain is extremely beautiful, and its tourism resources are unique. In 2013, it was listed as a major original ecological tourism resort project in Zhangjiajie City to attract investment both domestically and internationally. In 2016, Zhangjiajie Qixing Xianshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. signed a contract to invest in the development of Qixing Mountain. The planned area of the project is 26.9 square kilometers, with a total investment of over 10 billion RMB.

The overall positioning of Qixing Mountain is to create a "Sky City" scenic experience area. It is an internationally renowned mountain and vacation experience destination that integrates functions such as sightseeing, experience, vacation, wellness, sports, science popularization, and exploration.
