Cili County 2012/01/09 View:4533

Zhangjiajie Longwang Cave is one of the core scenic spots in Zhangjiajie and one of the biggest, eldest karst caves in China. Cave experts praised Longwang Cave for“exotic of world karst caves”. Meanwhile, Longwang Cave is a national AAAA rated scenic spot. Up to now, it is about three hundred and eighty million years old, which of course makes its archaeology and tourism values are also stand out.

Walking through this different cave, you may be deeply impressed by nature’s uncanny workmanship. Moreover, outside Longwang Cave, there is a deep abyss named “Longwang Abyss”, which is surrounded by steep cliffs all around. However, the depth of this abyss is still a riddle so far, no way to ascertain even nowadays. Longwang Abyss keeps the same water level throughout the year. Except sometimes, it experiences flood tide according to season or climate change. Together with Loujiang drift, Jiangya Spring, these three jointly constitute “gold corridor” in Zhangjiajie eastern tourism.
