The 1st Chinese HSST Project Settled in Zhangjiajie

Soon, visitors will have the chance to experience the maglev train once they get out of the west train station in Zhangjiajie. This maglev train will have a max traveling speed of about 120 kilometers per hour, and can take 402 passengers at one time. When it starts to operate in the near future, a visitor is allowed to get Wulingyuan directly in 12 minutes, which will save much more time, comparing with the initial one-hour range of drive by bus in the same line.

In April, 2011, Zhangjiajie has already witnessed this exciting moment when Zhangjiajie government signed a cooperation intention document with CSR Corporation Limited in Changsha. They planned to build the first Chinese medium-low speed maglev train operating line in Zhangjiajie. When completed, this line will shoulder visitors’ transportation from the center of Zhangjiajie Cityto Wulingyuan core scenic spot.
