World Natural Heritage World Geopark The First National Forest Park of China
On December 6, The 3rd Zhangjiajie International Tourism Poetry Festival opening ceremony was held along with the founding of the Chinese Poetry We-Media Alliance at Jishou University Zhangjiajie College. The festival has been held three times since 2017. Many well-known foreign and domestic scholars and poets have participated.
The festival highlights three elements: international; tourism; and, poetry . Twenty media groups from the China Cultural Tourism New Media Alliance participated in a tourism poetry competition based on HTML5 (Hyper Text Markup Language) technology. More than 100 scenic spots throughout the country participated.
Six major activities were held during the festival, including:
-A tourism poetry competition;
-The 3rd Zhangjiajie International Tourism Poetry Festival opening ceremony and the Chinese Poetry We-Media Alliance establishment ceremony;
-An international tourism poetry forum and Zhangjiajie tourism poetry phenomenon seminar;
-The night of tourism poetry and the 3rd China (Zhangjiajie) International Tourism Poetry Festival award ceremony;
-Zhangjiajie tours;
-A documentary on Chinese poets.
