Three treasures and a wonder(三宝一绝) in Zhangjiajie refer to a combination of four local specialties, including natural puerarin powder, fern powder, rock ear hailed as three treasures and the Eucommia Tea, the king of the tea, honored as a wonder of Zhangjiajie.
Fern powder is refined from a wild fern abounding in essential amino-acid needed by human beings and trace elements like Calcium, Ferrum, and Zinc, Selenium etc, which has a high nutritional value. Natural puerarin powder is made from the root of puerarin, which belongs to the perennial cany plant of leguminosae and lives in the deep mountains and jungles. Rock ear is located in cliff of quartz sandstone at a elevation of over 1km and sponges off trace elements in rocks.
