World Natural Heritage World Geopark The First National Forest Park of China
Bu Yuehui, officer of the Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau headed a delegation to the MATTA FAIR, the No.1 Consumer Travel & Tourism Fair in Malaysia, which was held from March 11-15, 2011 at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The delegation consisted of officers from local tourism bureaus and business representatives of tourism institutions.
The exhibition zone for Chinese tourism covered an area of more than 300 square meters and comprised of 8 exhibition stands from provinces and cities like Hunan Province, Shangdong Province, Sichuan Province, Qinghai Province and Shanghai City. Themed with Chinese Culture Tour in 2011, the specially designed booth showcased the profound Chinese culture.
Travel products and services on offer by Zhangjiajie City and Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture sell well in Malaysia all the time. In this event, Hunan delegation received more than 1,000 visitors and promoted travel products and services by handing out 3,000 odd brochures. They also paid special visits to Malaysia National Tourism Administration and China National Tourism Administration Singapore Office.
