World Natural Heritage World Geopark The First National Forest Park of China
January 29 is southern areas’ Preliminary Eve (小年, or Little New Year), the 24th day of the 12th month in the Chinese lunar calendar. On the same day, the 2019 Changsha Fire Palace Temple Fair kicked off at Huangxing Square, Changsha.
The temple fair lasts from January 19 to February 15. During the period, a variety of activities will be held, including various themed fairs, agricultural product exhibition and sales, and fashion programs.
Changsha Fire Palace Temple Fair has been held since 2013, and now it has become the only representative large-scale folk temple fair in central and southern China. It has been rated as one of the top 10 festival fairs for cultural consumption in Changsha, and is a key brand of Changsha cultural tourism.
