Named Tujia dew tea and Tujia magical tea, Maoyanmei has its vulgos like: longevity cane, glossy ganoderma, mee tea and bitter sweet dew. It is a kind of wild plant grown in the primeval forest of Zhangjiajie. The tea made from this plant has the freshness and simplicity from the climate.
The wild Maoyanmei, like Peristrophe Nees and Tendrils of tea can not be changed into other place for planting. According to scientific research, after the devastating cleanout of the fourth century glacier, the plant can only grow in the red sandstone of Zhangjiajie primeval forest which is on the altitude of 800-1,300 meters and free from pollution.
The Maoyanmei, most surviving in Zhangjiajie with an altitude 800-1,300 meters, has medical effects and food nutrition, becoming the wild plant that has the highest level of flavone and the most abundant nutrition in the world.
From thousands of years, there has been a habit of drinking Maoyanmei among Tujia people, who are healthy and strong with the many healthy elders hardly suffering from hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity and cancer. The special flavor and its magical functions against diseases are said to be the bounty of God, thus named “Magical Tea”, “Gyrophora Tea”.
The correct brewing method:
1.It has better effects if brew in vacuum cup.
2.Brewed 5 grams with 200-300mm water;drink after ten minutes.
3.Two or three times a day.
4.It can be brewed for three times.
